Course Offered At Nanjing University Of Chinese Medicine
Nanjing University of Chinese medicine established in 1954 and it is one of the earliest founded universities of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) in China. Because of the founder of the TCM higher education, this university enjoys the reputation of the cradle of Chinese TCM higher education at both abroad and China.
Now, it is one of the best universities for higher education in Jiangsu province. The ministry of education of China has approved the first batches of TCM to receive and train the students from Taiwan region and foreign countries.
What are the courses available at the university?
Currently, there are 13 teaching units available in the university that include College of the Second Clinical Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of International Education College of Basic Medicine, College of the First Clinical Medicine, College of Nursing, and much more. It offers 17 bachelor programs that incorporate acupuncture, Chinese material medical, TCM, nursing, etc. to render students academic subjects.
It also offers four levels of education such as 3-year professional program, master program, bachelor program, and doctoral program. Three post-doctoral working stations cover Chinese Materia Medica, TCM, Integrated Chinese and Western medicine, 23 majors for master’s degree and 21 majors for doctor’s degree in the university.
About the students and faculty members:
At present, over 15000 students are studying in the university. Among them, more than 1800 are postgraduates and over 900 international students from Taiwan, Macao, and Hong Kong at various learning levels. Nearly, there are 1200 faculty members in the university out of these 196 associate professors and 118 professors.
